2019 C&NN Conference NLN

Youth Leadership Training

Since 2008, young activists have participated in Children & Nature Network leadership trainings and Legacy Camps designed to help them address important issues in their communities – including increasing equitable access to nature. These Natural Leaders make up an inclusive and welcoming network of more than 450 changemakers in 185 communities across 47 U.S. states and four countries.

Legacy Camp and Fresh Tracks Training

We offer regional Legacy Camps for young adults, ages 18- to 28-years old. Our signature curriculum is built upon four foundational pillars: the power of personal narrative; civic engagement; community organizing; and outdoor leadership. As a participant, you will develop action plans that address needs and opportunities in your community.

We also partner with The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions on their Fresh Tracks initiative, which emphasizes cross cultural connection to develop the next generation of civically engaged leaders for an increasingly complex and diverse world.
