In his keynote address, Gil Penalosa of 8 80 Cities says we must think outside of the box to grow cities of the future. Through success stories from around the world, he helps us imagine what our cities would be like if we designed them with both an 8-year-old and an 80-year-old in mind.

Funders share current trends, funding priorities and challenges that impact the work of connecting children to nature. Blue Sky Funder’s Forum’s Angie Chen moderates this discussion presenting the funder’s perspective of growing the movement..

Plenary: Young Leaders: Inspiration to Action

In this panel discussion, young leaders discuss the actions they are taking to grow the children and nature movement. Jose Gonzalez of Latino Outdoors moderates the discussion on painting the picture of how to get to the vision of nature-rich cities and be a future ancestor.
