Special Reports, Surveys & Collections

These reports and collections are a synthesis of selected research and academic studies which focus on specific areas of interest to followers and advocates of the children and nature movement. These studies are among those originally published as part of our five-volume annotated bibliography of research when the movement was founded. Ongoing research initiatives are developed with independent evaluators to document, monitor, assess and evaluate the progress of the children and nature movement.

Research Summaries

An executive summary of each research report also includes the full citation of relevant information. Each complete report may be accessed as a PDF download or via a link to the study in its entirety online.  When a research study is not available online – either in the form of original research or a synthesis of various reports of studies – contact information is provided.
