Robert Bateman Get to Know Program
Well Known Artist and Naturalist Robert Bateman's wish is that children will learn the names of their neighbours of other species. The Get to Know program involves a National Art and Writing Contest, Interactive CD for Educational Purposes, and connecting organizations with similar goals. This program in it's ninth year engages thousand of youth with it's message, Get to know your Neighbours. Mr. Bateman says it best: "Caring for our planet begins with knowing the names of our other species."
