Association of Children’s Museum’s “Going Wild” Project Connects Children’s Play to Learning in Nature.

Going Wild, a project of ACM's Good to Grow! health initiative, connects children's play to learning in natural outdoor spaces. The 2012 Going Wild Pilot Program Grants are supported by The Trustees' Philanthropy Fund of Fidelity Charitable. In Summer 2012, ACM issued a RFP to open U.S. children's museum ACM members. All applicants were asked to submit a grant proposal detailing plans to bring sustainable informal learning environments developed in harmony with local ecosystems that will transform communities and inspire new models for outdoor learning in children’s museums.
