Many children in America today do not have easy access to the outdoors. Today's children live in a society in which almost every moment of their day is scheduled and accounted for. Children watch more television, play more video games and eat more junk food than ever before. This has led to a higher obesity rates and a 20% drop in national park attendance. The Sierra Club believes that every child has a right to have a special place in nature. The Sierra Club's Building Bridges to the Outdoors Project is moving towards its long-term commitment to give every child…
