2013 Chicago Wilderness Leave No Child Inside Month a Success

Chicago Wilderness and its member organizations announced that 115 organizations collaborated throughout the Chicago Wilderness region to host over 40 events that engaged more than 15,000 children and adults during Leave No Child Inside Month. Several of the Chicago Wilderness member organizations offer year-round LNCI programs as well.

Report Confirms Daily Dose of Nature Boosts Happiness, Wellbeing

In May, more than 10,000 Canadians and over 250 workplaces participated in the David Suzuki Foundation's 30×30 Nature Challenge. The national program challenged participants to commit to getting out into nature for 30 minutes a day for 30 consecutive days. Researchers found that participants doubled their time in nature and increased their happiness.
