“Wood Hood” Screening and Conversation (Recording)
“Wood Hood,” Best Short Film winner at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, is a coming-of-age documentary that follows inner-city youth on their path to discovering themselves and the great outdoors.
The documentary film follows DeVaughn, a 15-year-old from New York City who loves skateboarding and craves a “quiet place;” on a weekend-long group camping trip with Camping To Connect, a BIPOC-led mentorship program that teaches leadership, brotherhood, and inclusion in the outdoors.
Grab your popcorn and a drink for an exclusive, pre-release screening of this award-winning short film, followed by a conversation with producers Manny Almonte and Andy Isaacson.
