SUMMARY:Designing Community Strategies and Building Cross-Sector Teams (Recording)
DESCRIPTION:City and community leaders have an opportunity to create citywide change for children to access nature everywhere they live\, learn\, and play. Communities successful in advancing equitable access to nature for children possess strong cross-sector teams and adopt a systems level approach. The “Designing Community Strategies and Building Cross-Sector Teams” session features communities successful in these key areas. Through a conversation with leaders from the Cities Connecting Children to Nature (CCCN) initiative participants will learn about practical ideas for building a community team that incorporates diverse perspectives\, skills\, and backgrounds as well as strategies for achieving real and lasting change. The discussion will be followed by audience Q&A. \nParticipants interested in Nature Everywhere will also gain insights into their application and may consider watching the recording of the “Introduction to Nature Everywhere” virtual information session.
