The outdoors provides the perfect platform for teachers to ignite a passion for learning in children who may not otherwise engage in traditional classroom-based education. Experiential learning enriches education and a child’s own school grounds can provide a local, relevant and easy-to-access outdoor classroom. The Grounds for Change project was established to demonstrate that schools, with the right support and guidance, can further develop their practice outdoors to enhance curriculum.
