YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Young leaders are passionately involved in issues that affect their communities, including increasing equitable access to nature. We invest in the growth and development of diverse young adults by providing training, mentoring and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking. Since its creation in 2009, our Natural Leaders initiative and its partner program, Fresh Tracks, have trained more than 450 young leaders in 185 communities across 47 U.S. states and four countries.

Legacy Camp Leadership Training
We offer regional Legacy Camps for young adults, ages 18- to 29-years old. Our signature curriculum is built upon four foundational pillars: the power of personal narrative; civic engagement; community organizing; and outdoor leadership. Participants develop action plans that address needs and opportunities in their communities.
We also partner with The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions to produce Fresh Tracks leadership training, which emphasizes cross cultural connection to develop the next generation of civically engaged leaders for an increasingly complex and diverse world.
